Testimonials
I love the ASAP philosophy. As a family, we are fortunate to have someone in our son's life to also teach him the things that are important to us.
Andy loves QB but did not get a chance to show the coach what he could do as he only let eight of the kids show him (could have been a time issue or just that coaches see Andy and think "linebacker"). I tried to encourage him despite his devastation to just do his best wherever he was and to intercept, pull flags and show the coach he was a hard worker. He always does this anyway but replied, "But if I do that he will see I am good at linebacker and will never move me." He had a very good point. But still I tried to encourage him. Two practices ago we show up and one of the kids the coach has designated as QB has his arm in a cast. Apparently broke it unknowingly the last practice....So Andy took the opportunity and now he is getting to try for QB. He gets in the car and says, "Just like Coach Rainel says: you have to be patient, wait for your opportunity and be ready for it. Its a bad thing he broke his arm, but a good thing I get a chance". Just so you know the kids listen to you...and "hear" what you're saying.
"I hope all is well. I wanted to say thanks to you and Sean. This weekend Garrett played in the American legion all star game at Jethawk stadium. Of the 56 players invited, he was one of only 4 incoming freshman to be selected. His high school coach is really impressed with his attitude, hustle, and knowledge of the game. I strongly believe this greatly due to you teaching the fundamentals of the game. Your programs are direct result of the boys progress. I couldn't be happier with the way Garrett is moving along at the higher level. He played a solid second base for 6 innings and smacked a base hit for an RBI in front of several hundred fans and some college scouts. It was a proud day for me and for Garrett. So I felt it would only be proper to thank you, you deserve a lot of the credit. I feel very confident I made the right choice in bringing him to you these past years."
"What you have is amazing and after one practice parents will see the difference. My husband and I believe in what you are doing and are so grateful for your program! Our son is even more grateful. In the five practices he has gone to, you have corrected his focus. Thank you!
"I need to write you a note to let you know how Teddy is doing and how much we appreciate everything you and Sean taught him. Over the Memorial Day Weekend, a team of 8th graders was put together so that incoming high school athletes could get an opportunity to show what they can do. Teddy was one of the 12 asked to play. Besides getting to play for a high school coach, several of the JV and Varsity players came out to be assistant coaches. Teddy did great; hitting over .500, caught over 18 innings with a throw down to second for a put out, and pitched beautifully. The coach has shown interest in him and even told Teddy to contact the head coach in regards to the JV Summer Baseball League. Rainel, if it weren't for you and your team he would not have had the poise to deal with this pressure situation in the manner that he did. He knew exactly how to relate to the coach as a real player. Much of this comes from having played with you guys this last fall. He had the confidence to find that high gear and use it."
"I want to thank you and Sean for all of your work with Matthew and Jackson this past year. It has resulted in a great spring season for each of them. They have each improved tremendously. More importantly, their baseball confidence, demeanor on the field, and leadership is light years from where it was a year ago. The honest truth is that if we were giving the awards, these two guys would be equally deserving for sportsmanship, leadership, and hitting. I’d give Jackson the edge pitching and Matthew the edge fielding. These two have been the foundation of the team – and they’ve done so with tremendous hustle and humility, while being great teammates. It has truly been a pleasure to coach them this season and to see their growth as ball players."
"The ASAP program has really made the difference in the development of my son as an athlete, particularly a real baseball player and improved citizen.
"I really appreciate your (and the ASAP program’s) emphasis on playing the game the right way. Of course, that’s one of the things that originally interested me so much about having my son in the program, but it is great to see that it isn’t just words with you and Sean. You truly are building better players AND better human beings."
"Matt has already learned so much at the ASAP Fall League. I am so thankful to your team. Not only is he having a GREAT time but I can see his confidence building (I also see it in all the other "Astro" boys I know from last year). I can really see Matt thinking and can see his growth... I know they had a bit of a blood bath on Sunday but I can see a huge growth in him and I am so proud..... He is proud too (even though he hides it)... He had so much fun and learned a ton with your catching instruction the other day. He still has not stopped talking about it. The minute he came home, he called his dad and talked for 1 hour about it! I just wanted to say thank you and tell you guys how much I appreciate the training.
"Thanks Rainel, we appreciate all the help, skill and growth as a player and young man, that our son continues to receive from ASAP!!!"
"We have always enjoyed the ASAP experience and coaching staff. Our son has learned so much about the mental game of baseball through ASAP. It has been a great experience for him. We too look forward to future events and being on future ASAP teams."
We wanted to say thanks to Coach Rainel and Coach Ernie. This was an amazing experience for us to watch all the ASAP boys out there playing! You have both had a tremendous impact on our boys with the game. Their level of confidence and skill have improved tremendously from your guidance, teachings and encouragement. Thanks for making this a wonderful experience for them this weekend! We look forward to more games like today!
Rainel, thank you for keeping us updated on ASAP clinics and events. Bryan enjoyed the clinic, even though he could only go on Sunday's. He absolutely loves playing baseball and enjoyed seeing some of the teammates from the summer program. It is hard to find good off-season training, we are thankful to have found ASAP!
Bryan wore his ASAP shirt to his tryout. He decided to by-pass all of his baseball jersey's and chose his red ASAP one instead. He had his belt on and his shirt tucked in and looked clean and crisp. His tryout was excellent! He used the drop step on his grounders and a back hand maneuver as well. He hustled to the outfield, caught all the balls there and hit every ball pitched to him. He was a GREAT example of what ASAP is all about! You and Matt would have been proud.
I want to keep you informed on Jimmy's baseball performance. His confidence level is out of this world. He is one of the leaders of the team. He makes mistakes, but they don't weigh heavy on him. He is the player. (SS, Catch or where ever) The instruction that ASAP gave him has sent him into another level. I want to say Thank You for all of your help. YOU WOULD BE PROUD OF HIM.
"This past Sunday was a very different style of coaching for us and I'm happy to say 'I Like It'. I think it was great that you let the boys play and then discuss it right after the game is over when it is still fresh in their minds. As soon as they all learn how to 'click' together, it is going to be a strong team. I am very happy with our decision to have our son play for you as I know he will benefit greatly from your expertise and excel as a player. Thanks again."
"I would like everyone to know since my son has started participating at the ASAP Baseball Academy, his level of baseball awareness has jumped 100 fold. He tells me what his baseball weaknesses are, and then he wants to work on them to improve his level of play. Jimmy has never had training in agility or strength, but since he has started the academy, I see a great improvement in the way he moves on and off the field.
"I am very pleased to have my son participate in the ASAP Baseball Academy Program. The ASAP program not only teaches baseball lessons, but more importantly, life lessons such as respect, teamwork, preparation, mental toughness and focus. Thanks to you all for the effort and opportunity."
"ASAP has been really great for our 10-year-old son. The program's coaches are top notch. They are extremely professional, dedicated, and passionate about baseball. I have never been so impressed with any group of coaches. Our son loves attending practice, despite the desert heat. I wholeheartedly recommend this program to any parent who wants their child to excel in baseball."
"ASAP is an outstanding program. I have never seen such an experienced, knowledgeable group of trainers. You will have no regrets if you entrust your child with ASAP. If your child wants to learn to play baseball the right way, 'ASAP' is the program."
"The ASAP Baseball Academy is truly unique in that it spends a great deal of time focusing on strength and conditioning and mental baseball as well as physical, which is one thing that we haven't found anywhere else. Kids need to learn how to prepare their bodies for physical activity so they can play at their optimum level without injury."
